We now have the ability to obtain as much information on any subject that we require, thanks to the Internet. There is
information on any and every subject and everyone presents their point of view as "factual". As many facts can be put forward
in favour of any argument as against it. And even if we do not use the Internet, there are still numerous other sources of
information available. But how do we know what is really the truth?
How can the average person determine fact from fiction? When presented with a multitude of "facts", how can we
decide on the correct course of action to take, especially if we are sick? Is Rife therapy a remarkable technology
to cure illnesses or
Quackery? What about other
Alternative Health cures - do they really work?
Here are some thoughts and articles to help you decide.
To complicate our decision-making, very few issues in the medical field are absolutely clear-cut, one way or the other and
here is an example. We know that antibiotics kill the bacterial microbes that are present with many illnesses and their use
has become widespread and common. However, there is still controversy and debate on whether the use of antibiotics is the
correct approach to be used in the treatment of some illnesses. And what about chemotherapy?
Read the following three articles
Chemotherapy - Fact and Fiction (Part 1) and
Chemotherapy - Fact and Fiction (Part 2)
to see that not even some respected medical experts believe that chemotherapy is a good treatment for cancer.
But what if the situation is worse than just a difference of opinion? In the USA in the 1950's, Senator Charles Tobey
enlisted the services of Benedict Fitzgerald, an investigator for the Interstate Commerce Commission, to investigate
allegations of conspiracy and monopolistic practices on the part of the conventional Medical Industry. This came about as the
result of what happened to his son who had developed cancer and was given less than two years to live by conventional medical
practitioners. However, Tobey Jr, refusing to accept his fate, discovered and tried various alternative treatments and
eventually recovered fully from his cancerous condition. It was during this time that he learned of the alleged
conspiratorial practices on the part of conventional medicine. He passed the word to his father, Senator Charles Tobey, who
initiated an investigation. The final report clearly indicated there was indeed a conspiracy to monopolize the medical and
drug industry and to eliminate alternative options. The "Fitzgerald Report" was submitted into the Congressional Record
Appendix on 3rd August 1953.
In 1952, Dr Chester M. Southam, a medical research doctor of the Sloan-Kettering Institute, injected Ohio State Prison
inmates with live cancer cells. In 1963, he performed the same procedure on 22 senile, African-American female patients at
the Brooklyn Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital in order to watch their immunological response. Southam told the patients that
they were receiving "some cells," but left out the fact that they were cancer cells. He claimed that he did not obtain
informed consent from the patients because he did not want to frighten them by telling them what he was doing, but he
nevertheless temporarily lost his medical license because of it.
And what about the Pharmaceutical Industry? Are we getting the full truth about drugs or are we being deceived? Read the
following article
Deceived by the Pharmaceutical Industry
and see what you think. Every profession has had and still has its share of selfish, greedy and unscrupulous people, who will
try any way to lie and cheat in order to profit from other people's misery and misfortune. The conventional Medical industry
and the Alternative Health industry are no exceptions and have had their share of dishonest dealings. Sometimes, the
intention may not have been to be dishonest, and only ignorance and a lack of proper knowledge were the "crimes" committed.
In all cases it was always the patients who suffered.
And what about medical mishaps. In case, there is some truth in the story, let us look at one "cancer & AIDS conspiracy
theory". There is an extremely interesting book called "Mary, Ferrie, and the Cancer Virus" which is a first hand account of
how the author found out that the cancer epidemic we are in right now was caused by tainted polio vaccines. When the US
government found out that many polio vaccines had been tainted with cancer-causing monkey viruses, they secretly tried
everything to come up with another vaccine, but with no success. Instead, they may have inadvertently created the AIDS virus
because they were haphazardly experimenting with changing the DNA of monkey viruses (which is the closest type of virus to
what the AIDS virus is). Here is a quote from the book: "Today, however, there is copious evidence of a variety of simian
(monkey) viruses found in the tissue of sick humans. Of particular concern is the DNA from SV-40 (simian virus #40)
repeatedly extracted from several types of tumors, including brain, bone, and previously rare chest cancers”. In the words of
former FDA virologist John Martin, M.D., Ph.D., "SV-40 infection is now widespread within the human population almost
certainly as a result of a contaminated polio vaccine". There have been 140,000 reported fatal or near fatal reactions to
Vioxx; one third of the millions of women who took Fen-phen, the weight loss drug, suffered heart and lung damage; heart
disease is caused by Celebrex and all the other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; Prozac is causing suicides and
homicides as well as heart disease; and the list goes on.
ANAEMIA: Major warning on drugs that kill
A major health alert has been issued on a class of drugs that treats anaemia. The drugs, known as erythropoiesis stimulating agents, cause fatal cancers and heart problems.
In an earlier study that involved 1,432 patients, 222 suffered heart problems, some of which were fatal.
America’s drugs watchdog, the Food and Drug Administration, has issued a federal alert about the drugs, and will review their continued availability at a meeting next month. In the meantime, the FDA is advising doctors to keep dosages low.
The drugs are big business. In 2002, the latest year when figures are available, global sales had reached $8.1bn (£4.2bn), an increase of 18 per cent on the previous year.
The drugs are routinely given to patients who are anaemic following chronic renal failure, cancer, chemotherapy treatment, or HIV and AIDS.

I have touched on only a few of the medical profession's "darker deeds" here as an example. There are now a multitude of
books available that discuss this subject in great detail and a little investigation on the Internet will soon provide many,
many more. Unfortunately, the failures of the conventional Medical Industry far out-number
those of Alternative Health practitioners. There can be no doubt that the "Rife Industry" has, over the years, also
fallen victim to a few scams as well. Ill and dying people have always proven to be particularly susceptable to any claim of
a cure that could improve their health. In order to be balanced and fair, I will also provide some stories of less honourable
and embarrassing episodes in the history of Rife Therapy.
In trying to get Rife therapy accepted as a genuine cure for illnesses, the technology has constantly attracted greedy and dishonest promoters. As if the on-going battle with the AMA and FDA was not enough, these men have brought the reputation of Rife therapy into disrepute. These constant dodgy dealings have made it easy for the therapy to be labeled as “quackery”.
There are many instruments on the market that claim to be Rife devices of one sort or another. The truth is that none of
Rife's original machines exist today and we are not 100% sure about their design details or exactly how the frequencies were
produced or what they exactly were. The various modern devices sold with a Rife label are just modern "interpretations" of
what various people believe Rife did. In the opinion of some genuine Rife researchers, the claims made for many (but not all)
commercial Rife devices are at best illogical and in some cases downright misleading. Unfortunately various people have, over
the years, used the Rife name for selfish, personal, financial gain. Some of the information used to market Rife devices has
contained technical errors and may have been misunderstandings, but there have definitely been some exaggerated claims that
were intentionally misleading in order to generate sales.
The "Royal Rife Research Society" was a name used by a company who represented themselves on the Internet to be a Rife
information forum. The RRRS claimed that they had tested all of the Rife instruments on the market (in 2000) and went on to
make a recommendation about the best ones that they had found. In reality, it was subsequently discovered that the objective
of the RRRS was to market and sell the AstroPulse and Naturetronics-D Rife instruments. The RRRS website was in operation
from about 1997 and was still working on 9 Jan 2000. However, by mid 2000, it appeared that the website and office has ceased
operations. Their listed address at the time was 10387 Friars Road, Suite 201, San Diego, California. The Frequency
Instruction Manual supplied with the Naturetronics-D instrument is dated 1999 and states that it had been revised since 1987.
In an amazing twist to this story, I came across the following information on the Internet in March 2005. In a press
release from the office of the United States Attorney, California,
John Bryon Krueger was found guilty
of kidnapping and also of "introducing Unapproved Medical Devices in Interstate Commerce". It transpired that the Royal
Rife Research Society was operated by John Bryon Krueger and Kimberly Bailey (aka Janet Fleming) and they offered Rife
frequency devices on the internet during the period, from 19th December 1997 until 31st July 2000, under the names of
NatureTronics and AstroPulse. Krueger was said to be the Administrator of the RRRS and the advertised purpose of the RRRS was
to promote the use of bio-frequency devices for the treatment and cure of diseases and physical conditions. The RRRS
presented itself as an independent research organization unaffiliated with any manufacturer of bio-frequency devices.
However, the RRRS sent literature through the U.S. mail to individuals throughout the United States, extolling the supposed
virtues of bio-frequency devices and if an enquiry was made by anyone wishing to buy a bio-frequency device, the RRRS only
provided the prospective customer with the names and addresses of businesses operated by Krueger or Bailey. Krueger also
admitted that he knew that the devices had not received approval for use from the Food and Drug Administration, nor had any
exemption been granted for the devices by that agency for any purpose.
Here is the transcript of a message posted on the "Oxytherapies Forum" from Michael Stark (Michaelgeneststark@msn.com)
on May 27 1999. "Be careful with the companies selling Rifes. I bought an Astropulse and was given the promise that I can
return it if it didn't help me. I sent mine back when it wasn't working and never saw the machine or my refund again. After
many phone calls and letters I'm contacting a lawyer."

Here follows an edited extract from “The Rife Report: The Cancer Cure That Worked! Fifty Years of Suppression” by Barry
Lynes. [I only endorse SOME of his words – MJAH]
“Beware of Exploiters! …A number of garage engineers, marketing hustlers and scam artists, along with well-meaning but
misleading alternative cancer therapy advocates, have offered various “black box” devices as real or “improved” Rife
instruments…I warn the interested reader…to be careful in purchasing any such instrument or even taking and especially paying
for a “treatment” from someone who thinks they own a “Rife” device. For anyone actually diagnosed with cancer, this warning
is all the more serious. Unless you have investigated the results obtained with a given “Rife” instrument and found it to
have been successful with a significant number of real people with cancer, with whom you have personally spoken, don’t waste
your time or money. Still, “resonance healing” [and under this heading I take this to mean Electrotherapy in general – MJAH]
is coming along at an accelerated pace and there are Rife instruments which, combined with dedicated practitioners and
carefully developed protocols, are accomplishing stunning healing results. The only impediment to their open testing
widespread use is the prevailing political and legal climate [especially in the USA - MJAH]!”
Here is quote from Aubrey Scoon, a respected Rife researcher and electronics expert: “If someone is trying to sell you
something, then any information offered in support of their product should be treated with the utmost suspicion unless it can
be independently verified. Secondly, if anyone quotes a dozen pages of their professional qualifications in support of their
pet theory whether for or against, that should also be viewed with suspicion, because facts must speak for themselves - they
don't need qualifications, accreditations, certifications and accolades to be facts. Anyone who needs to do this to promote
their ideas probably has a very weak case, because facts should stand on their own merits”.
It is important to expose the crooks and it is easy to discredit the treatments that we don't like or we think do not
work. However we must be careful. History abounds with the stories of how discredited theories were later found to be
correct. Sometimes common wisdom and the sway of the majority does not always guarantee correctness. The medical and
pharmacutical industry learnt long ago how to use statistics to prove anything that they wanted to prove. So what do we do?
Read the following article Doors of Perception
to see how we are subtlely manipulated to believe a certain point of view. Of course these tactics can be used in a positive
or negative way. The aim could be to convince us that chemotherapy is the best treatment for cancer. Or maybe we are to be
convinced that Rife treatment is a hoax. Choose any subject you like - the manipulating principles remain the same.
Read the following article Why Bogus Therapies Often Seem to Work.
Sound advice, in my opinion, and if we apply these same guidelines to conventional medicine maybe we would think twice about
some of the treatments they offer.
I am convinced that the majority of people working in the Alternative Health industry are and have been honourable people
trying to make an honest and genuine difference to try to help ill people. And this applies to the Rife industry as well.
Use all information available to you and apply a large dose of openmindedness and good common sense in order to decide on
your best course of action. I hope that this article has not created too much confusion, but has rather been able
to guide you to be more enlightened and to look at all of the issues from a more objective point of view.
